This past November, Appcycled presented a meaningful alternative to the Black Friday frenzy, centered on upcycling and sustainable creation.
Our popup space in Milan's Via Guido d'Arezzo transformed into a haven of artisanal craftsmanship, where we demonstrated how pre-existing materials could be given new life and purpose.
We were honored to host an exceptional collection of sustainable and upcycling brands, each bringing their unique vision of conscious creation: Dennj's innovative designs, A'mmare Jewelry's elegant jewels wirh upcycled pearls combined with Lipp's jewelry boxes., Waeste Wear's bags, Couture Reloaded wonderful pieces, I was a Sari's beautiful transformation of traditional garments, Il Telaio di Piera's artisanal craftsmanship, Michael Ruggiero's creative vision, Natasha's unique corset creations, UpperBe's sustainable beauty cream solutions, Studio Ondina's fresh artistic approach for creative jewelry, Zaikeia's conscious and romantic designs, and Lab Misericordia's innovative reuse project for shirts and blazers, Daniela's handmade headdress turbans from discarded fabrics. Together with Appcycled's own creations, these brands demonstrated how beautiful upcycling is.
The highlight of our event was an intimate candle-making workshop where participants learned to create sustainable candles using reclaimed materials and natural ingredients.
This hands-on experience embodied our core philosophy of transforming waste into beauty while fostering a community that values creative reuse over mindless consumption.
Visitors discovered how upcycling isn't just about reducing waste – it's about reimagining possibilities and creating something unique and meaningful from what others might discard.
